This one is pretty strange! A Martian? A mask? So many of the Samoth buttons are wacky, weird and wonderful and that’s why we love them! I Wish I could tell you more about Samoth but unfortunately very little is known about them despite numerous searches for information on their history. They were based in Oakland, California, active in the mid 20th century. The buttons are typically molded and hand glazed with a flat back and a glued-on plastic shank. I’ve never seen one with a back mark.
